Girls Inc of Guilford County Host The Biggest Loser 2012

COMMIT TO BE FIT is a fitness accountability program that involves participation in health/nutrition classes, bi-weekly fitness activities, maintaining a food diary, and attending other related special events. Points are earned throughout the program based on pre-set benchmarks, and awards are provided for those who achieve their initial personal goals. Full family participation ensures ongoing support and success in achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

We will begin hosting this workshop January 7th, 2012- March 31, 2012 at Peeler Recreation Center from 10am-12pm. There will be weekly prizes, healthy refreshments, aerobic sessions and other planned activities including a Final Grand Prize. We are asking for full participation of the young ladies and families to make this a successful and healthy community. This workshop is open to adult mentors/volunteers, and young ladies ages 8-18 years of age.

Fee for this workshop there will be a one time fee of 45.00 per member which provides them with 1 year long of participation at our Saturday workshops.

We have decided as an organization to participate in this program so we encourage all families to participate in this challenge to help strengthen your families and the community by improving our health.

Check with your physician before committing to any physical exercise program.
